Niger Tornadoes’ Sibi Gwar wants more goals

Niger Tornadoes’ Sibi Gwar, who is currently leading on the Nigeria Premier League scorer's table with 12 goals, has promised to beat Jude Aneke's record of 20 this season.
Gwar said that  the only way he can create a record this season is to make sure he adds to the goals that Aneke scored last season.
"I want to beat that record and I know that I can do it. I have scored 12 goals and I just need nine more to become the all-time highest goal scorer in the Nigeria Premier League.
"The second round of every season has always favored me and this season will not be an exemption.
“I have always scored more goals in the second round and I am looking forward to adding to my goals haul. I want to achieve two aims with the 21 goals that I intend to score this season. The first is to emerge the highest goal scorer and the record holder and most importantly help Niger Tornadoes escape relegation at the end of the season.
"I am training hard because I know that defenders will be out to stop me. But I am equal to the task. I know that there are other players that have also scored good goals, but I feel that I have the chance of emerging the top scorer this season,"he said.
