Residents laments deteriorating state of the Powerline road in Sango Ota.

“Our government have abandoned us”,and why is it that its during election that they make empty promises that will not be fulfilled?asked by a commercial motorcyclist who was lamenting on the deteriorating state of the Powerline road in Sango Ota.
He narrated his experience on the road which was usually a “shortcut”from Powerline to Adalemo which is now an abandoned road, they face harrowing experience on a daily basis due to  the failure of government to provide them with basic infrastructure. For him,all the praises showered on the Government of Ogun state is not worth it,as far as he is concerned, the government is not performing to his expectation.

Motorists who pass through Adalemo to Ijoko road before now sees the road now as a death trap and a no-go area, the “once upon a time”good road has now been abandoned because it is not motorable again. Also affected are small cars whose end results for their owners who dare the road are indiscriminate visits to mechanic village and incurring unnecessary expenses.

A resident of Powerline Sango Ota said that living in the suburb areas should be a thing of greater expectation and joy because it helps to decongest the metropolis in Nigeria today, but the roads leading to suburbs are now in deplorable conditions. He explained that if the road is repaired,it will be easy and stress-free for both motorists and motorcyclist, and will also boost commercial activities in the area.He appeals to the Ogun State government to come to their behalf and find a lasting solution to the road, and also said that Landlords should also not depend on government for everything but should at all times make attempt to do things before the government intervenes.
