Former Manchester united midfielder David Beckham has praised the youthful ebullience of striker Marcus Rashford, after scoring the lone goal in the Manchester Day derby over the weekend.
The former Paris Saint Germain star was quick to heap commendations to the youngster in an Instagram post, saying that "it is “refreshing” to see a youngster playing with such when a young kid that loves the club he is at and loves the game he is playing this is what you get.
"The excitement in Marcus’s face after scoring against our rivals is exactly what a kid his age should look like… It’s refreshing and pleasing to see. Congrats to Marcus on another great day" @manchesterunited.
Marcus Rashford has scored five goals in eight senior appearances for the ‘Red Devil’ this season.
